Kia ora, and welcome back to all our children, whanau and friends. Everybody looks refreshed and have had some well needed vitamin D. We are looking forward to a fun, busy, and exciting 2015.
Programme
Children are still showing a huge interest in our “summer fun” focus, enjoying the water play daily. Check out our tadpoles and caterpillar’s if you have a spare few moments as this has also gathered a huge group of followers as our children learn about the life cycles. Some of our children are passionate about participating in music and movement as the opportunity is offered throughout the day. This interest helps to develop coordination, strengthening muscles, becoming more aware of our bodies and great for our listening skills. Construction has been also gathering interest from some of our children as they observe the expansion of the new centre with workmen and trucks coming and going.
Under 2 Programme
Our babies have welcomed a few new friends in the last two weeks. They too have enjoyed the outdoors exploring with water and different messy play textures. Some of our children having a 2nd birthday in the month of March have started some transitioning time exploring the over two area.
Booked Hours
Please do not drop off your child/ren before their booked times and make sure they up picked up at their booked time if not before unless prior arranged with Nicole.
New Centre
The new centre is coming along quickly and we hope to have it open in mid-March (if all goes to plan)
Speed Limit
Please SLOW DOWN in the car park when dropping off and picking up! We have had a few near misses with children.
Reminder – Illnesses
The vomiting and diarrhoea bug is unfortunately still lingering, please remember as our policy states, your child/ren should be away for 48 hours after their last episode of vomiting or diarrhoea.
